Explanation: Continued from City Council meeting of 12/15/97.
Planning Commission, at a public hearing held Tuesday, October 28, 1997,
recommended approval by a vote of 7-0.

7. Public Hearing - Proposed Traffic Operational Improvements Identifying an Interim Solution to the Irene
Street Overcrossing and Four (4) Ancillary Traffic Improvements in East San Rafael (PW)

a. Accept report.
b. Recommend adoption of Resolution certifying a Negative Declaration.
c. Recommend adoption of Resolution authorizing the use of East San Rafael
Traffic Mitigation Fees to fund interim solutions to the Irene Street
Overcrossing.
d. Recommend adoption of Resolution authorizing up to $500,000 to fund
various improvements.
e. Recommend adoption of Resolution for professional services with
CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group, Inc. for civil engineering and
survey.
f. Recommend adoption of Resolution for professional services with DKS
Associates for traffic signal design and signing and striping plan.
