City of San Rafael U.S. District Court for the N.D. of California Case No. CV 16-7056 MEJ • City Attornev Robert Epstein announced that no reportable action was taken Mavor Phillips announced that at a Special Meeting held earlier this evening, Council appointed Nadine Atieh & reappointed Leonard Thompson to fill two four-year terms to the end of March, 2021 on the San Rafael Fire Commission OPEN TIME FOR PUBLIC EXPRESSION — 7:00 PM: Carol Manashil addressed Council regarding National Library Week Alissa Gallawav, BioMarin, announced BioMarin's 20th year anniversary Salamah Locks, Marin Commission on Aging, presented a report CITY MANAGER'S REPORT: 3. City Manager's Report Citv Manaqer Jim Schutz announced the following: • Downtown San Rafael Market on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. • Italian Street Painting Marin • Marin County Half Marathon at the end of April; • Bay Area Color Stride in July; • Police Department event Coffee with a Cop & Doughnuts with Diana on Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at Johnny Doughnuts; • "13 Reasons Why" Netflix Series was released for streaming on Friday, March 31, 2017 and he expressed thanks to Paramount Pictures and the community for the event held on Sunday evening, which raised funds for Camp Chance; • Senior Management Analyst Rebecca Woodbury, City Manager's office, was selected one of the Top 25 honorees and won the award for "Doers, Dreamers & Drivers for 2017" by Government Technology CONSENT CALENDAR: 4.
