A Resolution of the San Rafael City Council authorizing
the purchase of four new vehicles from Joe Sio Chevrolet.
WHEREAS,in accordance with the City's 1994-95 Equipment
Replacement Program and duly authorized approval, specifications
were drawn and bids solicited for four new vehicles, i.e., two
compact sedans for the Public Works Department and a utility
vehicle and a van for the Fire Department; and
and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on November 4, 1994;
WHEREAS, the bid of Joe Sio Chevrolet of Albany, California
was the lowest responsible bid received; and
WHEREAS, after review of all the bid documents, it is staff's
recommendation that the bid of Joe Sio Chevrolet be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the San Rafael City Council
that staff is hereby authorized to purchase two 1995 Chevrolet
Corsica four door sedans at the bid price of $27,066.58; one 1995
Chevrolet four door S-10 Blazer at the bid price of $20,753.09; and
one 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van at the bid price of $18,322.76, all as
set forth in their bid dated November 2, 1994.
I, JEANNE M-LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 21st day of November 1994, by the following
vote, to wit:
