CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RE511hUTION OF [IPPRECIdTION
TO
CLASS FIVE FITNESS CENTER
WHEREAS, in the spirit of service to the Community, Class Five Fitness
Center, a local business has always supported and cooperated
with the San Rafael Police Department and its enforcement en-
deavors in the City; and
WHEREAS, Class Five Fitness Center on its own accord came forward and
volunteered their assistance in implementing a project which
would help reduce the number of young people who came into
negative contact with the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Class Five Fitness Center has made available, at no cost, .space
for a group of "at risk "juveniles to meet, exercise, and practice
the skills and teamwork necessary to successfully master the sport
of rock climbing; and
WHEREAS, Class Five Fitness Center has additionally made its staff and
equipment available to train these youth in their facility and on
field trips to local rock climbing sites without any cost to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of San Rafael, on behalf of all its citizens and especially
the children who have participated and who will have the oppor-
tunity to participate in these programs, hereby express sincere ap-
preciation and gratitude to Class Five Fitness Center for their
assistance.
