RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $108,007.04 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST AS
SAN RAFAEL' SHARE OF THE ACQUISITION COST OF
AN INTEGRATED ON-LINE LIBRARY SYSTEM
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since the receipt of the Bequest in 1982 a portion of the
Bequest has been used to enhance library service; and
WHEREAS, staff and Library Board of Trustees recommend that
$108,007.04 be appropriated from the Bequest to fund San Rafael's share of the
acquisition cost of an integrated on-line library system to improve the public's
access to library resources and increase efficiency of library operations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby appropriates $108,007.04 from the Davidson Bequest as San
Rafael's share of the acquisition cost of an integrated on-line library system.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said city held on Monday the
Sixth day of December 1993 by the following vote to wit:
