CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
SANDY L OLLINI
WHEREAS, the City Council and the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Rafael
determined to embark on a collaborative, community based, consensus planning
effort to determine the future of Downtown San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency appointed Sandy Lollini to serve as a member of the
Downtown Community Plan Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Committee met from 1991 to 1993 to formulate Out- Vision of Downtown San
Rafael which reflects the dreams and desires of the entire community; and
WHEREAS, Sandy reflected the interests of neighborhoods, families and Downtown shoppers
on the Downtown Community Plan Committee; and
WHEREAS, Sandy interacted with many of the Plan Sponsor groups, including the Ge►stle
Park Neighborhood Association, and kept them informed of the progress made on
the Plan; and
WHEREAS, Sandy provided the perspective of a concerned and involved citizen, insightful
suggestions, hours of effort throughout our two yeas of work, and assisted
tremendously in informing the community about Our Vision for Downtown San
Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of
San Rafael, on behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Sandy Lollini for her dedicated and devoted set -vice as a
DOWNTOWN COMMUNITY PLAN COMMITTEE MEMBER and the
contributions she has made to creating a Vision for Downtown San Rafael which
will improve the quality of life for current and fixture residents of San Rafael.
