RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $43,400 FROM THE DAVIDSON BEQUEST
FOR THE LIBRARY BOOK BUDGET,
AND $25,000 FOR THE LIBRARY AUTOMATION PROJECT
FISCAL YEAR 1990-91
WHEREAS, the Davidson Bequest was a gift to the San Rafael Public
Library by the late Evans Davidson in memory of his sister Della Davidson; and
WHEREAS, since receipt of the Bequest in 1982, a portion of the accrued
interest on the Bequest has been used to supplement the Library's budget; and
WHEREAS, the staff recommends appropriating $43,400 of interest on the
Davidson Bequest to supplement the Library's book budget for fiscal year
1990-91, and appropriating $25,000 for the library automation project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby appropriates $43,400 of interest on the Davidson Bequest
to supplement the Library's book budget for fiscal year 1990-91, and $25,000 for
the library automation project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a Reaular meeting of the City Council of said City held on Mondav
the Fifth day of November , 1990 by the following vote to wit:
