A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
APPROVING A SIX (6) MONTH SURCHARGE ON
TAXI FARES
WHEREAS, Radio Cab Company has submitted a request for a
.25(� surcharge to cover the increased cost of gasoline.
WHEREAS, a surcharge for a six (6) month period was
deemed to be justified.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael that a 25(," surcharge may be added to each fare
for a six (6) month period, beginning October 16th, to offset the
higher cost of gasoline.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a notice approved by the City
explaining the surcharge be clearly posted in each cab.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on MONDAY , the 15th day of OCTOBER
1990, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: BORO, SHIPPEY, THAYER & VICE -MAYOR BREINER
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: MAYOR MULRYAN
