A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING
OF A CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as
follows:
The CITY MANAGER and CITY CLERK are authorized to
execute, on behalf of the City of San Rafael, a contract,
lease or agreement with
AGREEMENT WITH MARIN COUNTY LIBRARY FOR BOOKMOBILE SERVICES
IN THE CANAL AREA; FROM NOVEMBER 1, 1489 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1990.
a copy of which is hereby attached and by this reference
made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted at a REGULAR
meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
TWENTIETH day of FEBRUARY , 1990 by following vote
to wit:

AGREE14ENT FOR BOOKMOBILE SERVICES

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 20th day of
February, 1990 by and between THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL,
hereinafter referred to as "CITY', and the COUNTY OF MARIN,
a political subdivision of the State of California,
hereinafter referred to as "COUNTY'.
WITNESSETH
?n cons] dercit3 on of the mutual promises as hereinafter
contained, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The COUNTY agrees to provide two one hour stops
each month of Bookmobile services to the CITY from November
1, 1989 through June 30, 1990 at the Pickleweed Recreation
Center.
2. The CITY agrees to pay the COUNTY the sum of One
Thousand Four Hundred and forty Dollars($l, 440.00) for the
rendering of aforesaid services, to be paid as follows:
Payments shall be made quarterly and shall be payable
to the Marin County Free Library. Payments shall be
received no later than the following dates and for the
stated amounts:
March 1, 1990 $720.00
May 1, 1990 $720.00
3. Neither party shall discriminate against any
individual based on race, color, religion, nationality, sex,
age or handicapped condition.
4. Either party shall have the right to terminate this
agreement at any time upon giving the other party thirty
(30) days' written notice prior to the effective date of
termination.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered
into this agreement in the day and year first above written.
