ANN BATMAN has

Falkirk Cultural Center in the last twelve
WHEREAS, ANN was one of the original group of concerned citizens
who fought successfully to save Falkirk from demolition and
have it preserved as a National Historic Landmark; and
WHEREAS, In her twelve years as a Commissioner, including three
years as the Chair, ANN has contributed greatly to
enhancing the cultural life of the community, and
preservinq the City's architectural heritage; and
WHEREAS, ANN has worked selflessly as a volunteer giving of her
time to create a better community; and
WHEREAS, ANN'S hard work, _good humor, and dedication will be missed
by all who worked with her.
NOW, THERl,FORE, BE 1I' RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael, expresses its sincere appreciation to ANN
BATMAN for her outstanding record of service to the
community.
