A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AMENDING THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY ~AGER
AND CITY OF SAN RAFAEL (RESOLUTION NO. 5985)
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael
as follows:
PARAGRAPH #1. The terms of the contract are continued in
force and the Agreement is extended until November 1, 1984.
PARAGRAPH #3. Retroactive to May 1, 1983, a salary increase
of six percent (6%) shall be paid to the City Manager; $4,667.00.
(per copy of Agreement, attached).
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of said City held on Monday, the sixteenth day of May, 1983, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Frugoli, Miskimen & Vice-Mayor Jensen
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner & Mayor Mulryan
AMENDMENT TO AGREE~1ENT
WHEREAS, the Agreement made and entered into on the first
day of November, 1980, by and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a
municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as "City", and
ROBERT F. BEYER, hereinafter referred to as "City~anager" shall
be as follows:
WITNESSETH
PARAGRAPH #1 shall be amended to read:
1. The City hereby extends the contract with the City
Manager to and including ,the first day of
November, 1984.
PARAGRAPH #3 shall be amended to read:
3. In consideration of the City Manager performing
these services as required and directed by the
City Council, he shall be compensated as follows:
$56,000 per annum, effective May 1, 1983.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have entered into this
Amendment to Agreement this 16th day of May, 1983.
