RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL APPROVING THE PROGRESS REPORT
SUBMITTED BY THE MARIN ARTS COUNCIL
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the California Arts Council has established the
State/Local Partnership Program designed to encourage local cultural
planning and decision-making; and
WHEREAS, the Marin County Board of Supervisors has designated
the Marin Arts Council as the local cultural planning agency for the
purpose of designing the Marin Cultural Action Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Marin Arts Council has submitted a Progress
Report outlining goals, objectives, considerations and timetable for
a cultural plan; and
WHEREAS, the Marin Arts Council will submit a final draft
of the Marin Cultural Action Plan to the City Council for its final
review and approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Rafael
approve the Progress Report submitted by the Marin Arts Council to the
California Arts Council on March 31, 1982.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of
said City on Monday, the seventeenth day of May, 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
