RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL ACCEPTING GIFT OF MONEY
FROM THE SAN RAFAEL LIONS CLUB TO PURCHASE VISUALTEK READER
FOR THE LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Lions Club of San Rafael is a community service
organization with a special interest in helping visually handicapped people.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Lions Club of San Rafael
has awarded the San Rafael Library $2,250.70 to purchase a Visualtek Reader
which will aid and benefit visually handicapped people in the community.
WHEREAS, the Visualtek Reader will add measurably to the ability
of the Library to provide services to the visually handicapped.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael approves acceptance of the Lions Club gift of $2,250.70 for the
purchase of a Visualtek Reader for the Library, and commends the Lions Club
for the spirit of community service examplified by this gift.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San RAfael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on
Monday the 7th of June, 1982, by the following vote, to wit:

Mayor Mulryan
