RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROVING SCULPTURE FOR ENTRYWAY TO
ALBERT PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council approved applying for Inter -Arts
of Marin grant for funds to design and construct sculpture at
Albert Park; and
WHEREAS, Inter -Arts of Marin awarded the City nine thousand
dollars for the design and construction of a sculpture at Albert
Park; and
WHEREAS, the sculpture will improve the aesthetics of Albert
Park and provide art to the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael approve the art piece A -But -Ment and authorize
artist Merrill Stigge to proceed with the construction of the piece.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday, the 16th day of August, 1982, by the following
vote, to wit:
