RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL REMOVING ONE (1) FOOT NON -
ACCESS STRIP FROM THE EASTERLY TERMINUS OF
WELLBROCK HEIGHTS AS SHOWN ON THE RECORDED
SUBDIVISION MAP OF "TERRA LINDA UNIT 15"
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission and City Council
have heretofore approved the subdivision map of "Terra Linda Unit 15";
AND WHEREAS, said subdivision map of "Terra Linda Unit 15" was
recorded on August 16, 1960 in Volume 10 of Maps at Page 72, Marin
County Records;
AND WHEREAS, the Record Subdivision Map of "Terra Linda Unit
15" in the City of San Rafael, shows a one (1) foot non -access strip
adjacent to the easterly terminus of Wellbrock Heights;
AND WHEREAS, the San Rafael Planning Commission has approved
the development of a new facility for the Aldersgate Methodist Church
off the easterly end of Wellbrock Heights in conjunction with a
property exchange and agreement between Kaiser Hospital and Aldersgate
Methodist Church;
AND WHEREAS, said one (1) foot non -access strip would preclude
access to the proposed church site;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of San Rafael that that certain one (1) foot non -access strip adjacent
to the easterly terminus of Wellbrock Heights as shown on the Recorded
Subdivision Map of "Terra Linda Unit 15" be and the same is hereby
removed.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City of Monday,
the 5th day of April, 1982, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Frugoli, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
