RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL CERTIFYING THE RE-
VISED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE WEST
FRANCISCO BOULEVARD EXTENSION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council certified a Negative
Declaration on February 2, 1979 for the West Francisco Boulevard
Extension Project; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to this certification, the City Council
authorized the preparation of the Francisco Boulevard West Specific
Area Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Specific Area Plan identified roadway pattern
alternatives; and
WHEREAS, the City Council after considering public testimony
at duly noticed public hearings selected a specific roadway pattern;

WHEREAS, the selection of this roadway pattern necessitated
a realignment of the roadway extension; and
WHEREAS, the realignment includes the shifting of the southerly
terminus of the roadway extension approximately 200 feet westerly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City
Council hereby certifies the revised Negative Declaration for the
West Francisco Boulevard Extension Project and finds that the project
is found to have no significant effect on the environment.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on Monday, the 4th day of May, 1981, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Breiner, Jensen, Miskimen & Mayor Mulryan
NOES: COUNCILEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: Nixon
