RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPOINTING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CITY -AUTHORIZED DEFERRED
COMPENSATION PLAN.
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of November, 1973, the City Council of the City
of San Rafael duly authorized the City of San Rafael to adopt a Deferred
Compensation Plan for its employees; and
WHEREAS, said Plan has been submitted to the Internal Revenue Service for
its authorization; and
WHEREAS, said Plan provides that it shall be administered by the employer;
to wit, the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires that the Plan be administered by an
individual who is not a participant in said Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Director is a participant in said Plan but is handling
the funds for said Plan, it is desirous that the Administrator be in his office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that LA VON F. ELLER be and hereby is appointed
Administrator of the City of San Rafael's authorized Deferred Compensation Plan
with all of the powers conferred upon said Administrator by said Plan.
I, MARION A. GRADY, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at
a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 1st day of
April , 1974, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan, Nixon and Mayor Bettini
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
