RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
ADOPTING THE STATEMENT OF RESULTS OF THE SAN RAFAEL
SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION CONSOLIDATED WITH THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA DIRECT PRIMARY ELECTION HELD ON
JUNE 4, 1974
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael by Resolu-
tion No. 4683 requested the consolidation of the San Rafael Special Muni-
cipal Election with the State of California Direct Primary Election held
on June 4, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael by Resolu-
tion No. 4684 requested the Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin
to permit the County Clerk of the County of Marin to render specified
services relating to the conduct of the San Rafael Special Municipal
Election and authorized the Board of Supervisors of the County of Marin
to request that the County Clerk of the County of Marin be designated as
the person to provide the canvass of the returns of said General Munici-
pal Election;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the
City of San Rafael does hereby adopt the statement of votes marked ''Ex-
hibit "A" and made a part hereof as certified to by the County Clerk of
the County of Marin on the Certificate marked "Exhibit B" and made a part
hereof.
I, MARION A.GRADY, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced
and adopted at a regular_ meeting of the Council of said City held
on Monday the 1st day of July , 1974, by the following
vote, towit:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Jensen, Miskimen, Mulryan and Nixon
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Mayor Bettini
