RESOLUTION NO. 4098
RESOLUTION ORDERING CLOSING, ABANDONING
3311"11 AND VACATING VARIOUS EASEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael on the 2nd
day of August , 19 71 , adopted Resolution No. 4080
entitled RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE VARIOUS EASEMENTS; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution was posted as required by law; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of San Rafael,
California, conspicuously posted notices of easement vacation as required by law;
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was had this day as required by law and said
Resolution No. 4080 , at which hearing the Council of the City of San
Rafael heard evidence offered by persons interested; and
WHEREAS, it appears from all of the evidence submitted that the
following described easements are unnecessary for present or prospective
public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the following described easements are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use;
2. That the following described easements are hereby ordered
closed, abandoned and vacated;
3. That the easements closed, abandoned and vacated are described
on Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
I, MARION! A. GRADY , Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the City of San Rafael held
on the 7th day of September , 19 71 by the following vote,

EASEMENT NO. 1
An easement for future streets and public utilities, 30 feet in width, lying
contiguous to and nortfvaesterly of a line bearing S. 330 46' w. 647.18 feet
as shown on the map of the "Ceccotti Tract" recorded September 14, 1970, in
Volume 111 of Mips at Page 75, Marin County Records.
Excluding therefrom portions of the arca of the follc,aing recorded road•..ray
and utility casement width lie within Easement NO. 1.

cn a line N 36' 46' E. 456.25 feet to the point of beginninS, thicnce north-:;estarly

contiguous to and southeiesterly of a lin-- bearing S. 51° 14' E. 200.00 feet
as shorn on the map of the "Ceccotti Tract" recorded Septet„bar 14, 1970, in
Volume 14 of Maps at Page 75, Marin County Records.
