SUBJECT: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS TO FILL THREE, 4-YEAR TERMS
ON THE BOARD OF LIBRARY TRUSTEES TO THE END OF APRIL, 2015, DUE TO
EXPIRATION OF TERMS OF URSULA DAVIDSON, SEAN PRENDIVILLE AND
CHARLES STUCKEY (CC)
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended that Council:
a) Call for applications for appointments to fill three, 4-year terms on the Board of Library Trustees to
the end of April, 2015;
b) Set deadline for receipt of applications for Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. in the City Clerkâs
Office, City Hall, Room 209; and
c) Set date for interviews of applicants at a Special City Council meeting to be held on Monday, May 2,
2011, tentatively commencing at 6:00 p.m.
SUMMARY BACKGROUND:
The four-year terms of Ursula Davidson, Sean Prendiville and Charles Stuckey will expire at the end of
April, 2011. Sean Prendiville expressed interest in seeking reappointment.
ACTION: Approve staff recommendation.
