AYES: Councilmembers: Brockbank, Connolly, Heller, Levine &Mayor Boro NOES: None ABSENT: None b) Resolution Establishing the Assessment District. RESOLUTION NO. 13182 - RESOLUTION ADOPTING ENGINEER'S REPORT, CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ORDERING THE WORK AND ACQUISITIONS, LEVYING FIRST ASSESSMENTS AND DIRECTING ACTION WITH RESPECT THERETO Councilmember Connolly moved and Councilmember Brockbank seconded to adopt the Resolution. AYES: Councilmembers: Brockbank, Connolly, Heller, Levine & Mayor Boro NOES: None ABSENT: None PSP Assessment District Public Works Director Nader Mansourian presenting the staff report, reported that on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, the City Clerk opened a total of 1,901 valid ballots, resulting in $100,292.49 Yes (61.4%) and $63,156.08 No (38.6%). Total balloted Assessment was $228,976 for maintenance and operation. Mr. Mansourian described the next steps in the process. Councilmember Connolly invited Mr. Mansourian to reiterate how notice was provided, specifically in the Glenwood area. Mr. Mansourian reported that the same Assessment District area map from ten years ago was used. Andrew Perry reported that at least three committee members live in Glenwood. He and another spoke at their last two Homeowner Association meetings which were advertised on their email list and on the sign entering and exiting Glenwood, and postcards etc., were distributed. Scott Gerber stated that while he was in favor of the medians looking good, this was not about medians, rather fiscal responsibility. ADJOURNMENT: 4:16 PM ESTHER C.
