1. Minutes, July 17, 2012
Stewart Summers moved and Mohit Garg seconded to approve Minutes with correction to vote for 195
No. Redwood Highway to reflect a “No” vote for Bob Huntsberry. The vote is as follows:
AYES: Bob Huntsberry, Stewart Summers, Mohit Garg
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Serge Fedorov
ABSENT: Jeff Kent, Cheryl Lentini
OLD BUSINESS
2. Lucas Valley Area (ExteNet Systems DAS Network) - Use Permit, Environmental and
Design Review and Exception for installation of 2'2" tall by 16" diameter omni-antenna on
4" by 4" by 6' tall post extensions attached to the top of existing 39' to 48' tall joint utility
poles, and associated ground mounted equipment cabinets located within the public
rights-of-way at five locations in north San Rafael, as part of a distributed antenna system
("DAS") public telephone infrastructure project implemented by ExteNet Systems; APN:
n/a, site locations near 1959 Las Gallinas Ave, 873 Del Ganado Rd, 714 Penny Royal Ln, 7
Montevideo Way, and 459 Hibiscus Way; R5, R7.5, R10, R20, PD and R5-EA Zone Districts;
Rick Hirsch, Applicant; ExteNet Systems, LLC Owner; Terra Linda/Santa Margarita and
Mont Marin/San Rafael Neighborhoods. Project Planner: Kraig Tambornini
Stewart Summers moved and Mohit Garg seconded to approve project with following consensus items:
1) Support of project without extended skirt.
2) Alternate placement of underground antennae on Manuel Freitas instead of Hibiscus Way
3) Underground placement of all cabinets.
