BOARD COMMUNICATION
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. Minutes, June 16, 2015
Due to the lack of a quorum for a vote, the Minutes are being moved to the next Design Review Board
meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
2. 524 Mission Avenue (San Rafael Carriage Houses) - Request amendment of an existing
Environmental and Design Review (ED06-024) Permit to allow miscellaneous
modifications to the approved site and building design for the redevelopment of a 26,400
sq. ft. multi-family residential site. The project conditionally approved 15 townhomes with
courtyard parking accessed from Irwin St., which is proposed not to change.; APN: 014-
013-05; Medium-Density Residential (MR2.5) District Zone; Bob Wright of Wright
Architecture Studio, Applicant; 524 Mission Street LLC, et al and Thompson Family Trust,
et al, Owners; Montecito Neighborhood. Project Planner: Steve Stafford.
Jeff Kent moved and Eric Spielman seconded to recommend approval of the project with the exception of
the courtyard landscaping and the final details of the paving and planters. These items are to come back
to the Board as a Consensus item at a later date. The vote is as follows:
AYES: Stewart Summers Chair, Jeff Kent, Eric Spielman
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Cheryl Lentini, Bob Huntsberry
