APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. November 9, 2016
With the absence of Board Member Huntsberry, the Board was unable to review and act on these
Minutes. The Minutes will be added to the Agenda of the next scheduled meeting of February 7, 2017.

1. 200 Northgate Drive (Northgate One Shopping Center) – Revisions to existing approved
bollards at central driveway (ED16-068) (Continued from DRB meeting of August 9,
2016) Project Planner: Caron Parker

Note: Alternate Board Member Blayney recused himself from this item and left the room.
The Board supported the design of the replacement bollards though encouraged the applicant to explore
the feasibility of also replacing the loss of illumination, either on the adjacent pergola or by an alternative
method. Stewart Summers moved and Cheryl Lentini seconded to approve the project with the vote is as
follows:
AYES: Eric Spielman, Cheryl Lentini, Stewart Summers, Jeff Kent, Chair
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Don Blayney
ABSENT: Bob Huntsberry
2. 4000 Civic Center Drive – Amendment to previously approved Design Review Permit
(ED15-040). Proposal to paint mansard roof and building exterior. File No. ED16-

The Board supported the new exterior colors. Cheryl Lentini moved and Stewart Summers seconded to
approve the project as presented. The vote is as follows:

Eric Spielman moved and Stewart Summers seconded to approve the project as presented with
recommendations from the Board as noted by staff. The vote is as follows:
AYES: Eric Spielman, Cheryl Lentini, Don Blayney, Alternate, Stewart Summers
NOES: Jeff Kent, Chair

ABSENT: Bob Huntsberry
NEW BUSINESS
4. Annual Meeting and Election of Officers
Staff Report
Jeff Kent, Chair moved and Stewart Summers seconded to approve the election officers for 2017 with
Board Member Spielman as Chair and Board Member Huntsberry as Vice-Chair. The vote is as follows:
AYES: Eric Spielman, Cheryl Lentini, Don Blayney, Alternate, Stewart Summers, Jeff Kent,
Chair
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Bob Huntsberry

submitted. The vote is as follows:
