2. Presentation to the Planning Commission from Department of Public Works on status of
SMART, potential Relocation of the Downtown Transit Station, and traffic conditions in the
downtown area.
Staff Report
Staff gave its presentation. There was no vote necessary for this item.
3. Planning Commission General Discussion on Land Use and Planning –Related Topics –
The Planning Commission will hold a general meeting to provide a forum for the
Commission to discuss carious land use and planning topics and regulations. Public
comments will be accepted as part of these discussions. Based on the extent of their
discussion and Commission consensus, the Commission may recommend to the City
Council topic areas that warrant additional study and presentation: APN: Citywide; File
No P16-010.
Staff Report
Staff gave its presentation and public gave their comments. There was no vote on this item. Staff
indicated they would return with a draft letter to the City Council summarizing this meeting on the
Planning Commission meeting of December 13, 2016 for Planning Commission review and Chair
signature.
