The Open Time for Public Expression has closed 1:41:41City of San RafaelHere is the link for the Citizen of the Year info: https://www.cityofsanrafael.org/citiz... 2:04:05San Rafael Chamber of CommercePublic Comment; congratulations to the BID. they stepped up in a large way this year and were the first to implement the successful Dining Under the Lights program that was a model for other cities 2:17:19Eda LochteOn behalf of the BID Board, Thank you for you kind words and for your support. The City has been a great partner for our Downtown and our community during this challenging year. 2:19:35San Rafael Chamber of CommerceGreat job Eda 2:57:18San Rafael Chamber of Commercepublic comment; as one of the members of the stakeholders group- it has always been our intention to ensure enhanced access to east san rafael with this project. 2:57:54San Rafael Chamber of CommerceEast san rafael is a major economic generator for not just san rafael but for all of Marin. we look forward to the conversation at the working group meeting about community impact 3:03:11City of San RafaelSan Rafael Chamber of Commerce - Sorry, we missed the first half of your comment! 3:03:33San Rafael Chamber of Commercelol...that was the best part. no worries. 3:03:51City of San RafaelWhew 3:04:40Johnson ReynoldsAppreciate Bringing up Community Impact 3:14:57Joshua TownsendOn behalf of the San Rafael Chamber, we want to strongly support the swift implementation of housing policy staff recommendations. As you may know, the Chamber of Commerce has been focused on bringing 3:15:12Joshua Townsendnew workforce housing to the region and conducted its own study last year. The results of this study mirrored the City’s findings. While developers were often deterred by process, 3:15:46Joshua Townsendthe main constraint was the cost of land and construction costs. By reducing the inclusionary housing percentage to 10%, and providing an array of options, developers would be dramatically more 3:16:15Joshua Townsendmore inclined to build in San Rafael. We strongly urge the City to reduce the inclusionary requirements to 10% over a period of time and reevaluate the results to determine a long terms percentage 3:16:26Joshua Townsendwould continue to increase units. Thank you for your time. 3:22:04Johnson ReynoldsPPUBLIC COMMENT - I support MERC and MOC letters, correspondence for 15% Affordable Housing in developments, not InLieu-of alternatives - look a t MERC.
