AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR PARAMEDIC TRAINING FIELD INTERNSHIP
EXPERIENCE BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL AND
SANTA ROSA JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT
THIS AMENDMENT ("Amendment") is entered into as of the 1 st day of September, 2021, by
and between the CITY OF SAN RAFAEL, a California Charter City (hereafter "CITY"), and
SANTA ROSA JUNIOR COLLEGE DISTRICT, a California Junior College District (hereafter
"DISTRICT").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, CITY and DISTRICT entered into an "Agreement for Paramedic Training Field
Internship Experience" with effective date October 20, 2016 (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Agreement terminates on October 20, 2021; and
WHEREAS, DISTRICT and CITY desire to continue their partnership as reflected in the
Agreement; and
WHEREAS, Section 8 of the Agreement (TERM OF AGREEMENT) allows for the Agreement
to be renewed upon mutual agreement of the parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:
Section 8 of the Agreement (TERM OF AGREEMENT) is hereby amended in its entirety to
read as follows:
8. TERM OF AGREEMENT
The term of this Agreement shall become effective on October 20, 2016 and shall terminate on
October 20, 2022, unless terminated earlier pursuant to Section 9 of this agreement. Upon expiration
of the original term or any renewal term, this Agreement shall automatically be renewed for a one
(1) year period unless, at least one hundred and eighty (180) days prior to the renewal date, either
party provides to the other written notice of its desire not to automatically renew this Agreement.
2. CITY's contact information in Section 15 of the Agreement (NOTICES) is hereby amended to
the following:

3. Except as otherwise provided herein, all terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain
in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment as of the date
set forth above.
