San Quentin Pump Station Funding
•Estimated construction cost: $3.2 million + Construction
Management & Inspection
•Average annual Stormwater Fee funds for CIP projects is $500,000.
•Staff applied for grant funding from FEMA and State’s Urban Flood
Protection Program. Both applications were unsuccessful
•City received American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds in 2021 that
can be used for CIP projects and specifically calls out water
infrastructure projects as eligible
•This projects contributes to key focus areas identified by City Council
for FY 2021/22, “Sustainability, Climate Change, and Disasters”
