Proclamation
Presented to
Lawrence ‘Larry” Luckham
WHEREAS, Larry Luckham has served as both a member and during the last year,
Chairperson, of the San Rafael Fire Commission; and
WHEREAS, During his nearly 20 years of service on the Fire Commission, San
Rafael and adjacent communities have benefitted tremendously from
his volunteer efforts, fire investigation training and experience, and
countywide partnerships with many public safety professionals,
numerous committees, and working groups; and
WHEREAS, Larry Luckham has contributed countless hours of volunteer time to
improve the San Rafael Fire Department, document its history
through film and photography as “Photo 50”and his commitment to
assisting the department with its growth and experience; and
WHEREAS, Larry Luckham has served as a long-time member of the San Rafael
Fire Commission and is a strong advocate of both community and
firefighter safety through training, familiarization, and preparedness;
and
WHEREAS, in recognition of his insurmountable experience and dedication to
the San Rafael Fire Commission, we honor Larry Luckham with Fire
Commissioner Emeritus status.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kate Colin, Mayor of San Rafael, do hereby proclaim my sincere
appreciation to
Larry Luckham
for his many important contributions and community service to the City of San Rafael.
