2. UPDATE ON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEARS 2009-2011 (FIN) —

Finance Director Cindy Mosser reported that she was presenting an update to the Redevelopment Agency's
Budget for Fiscal Years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 from the original budget adopted in July, 2009. With the
exception of a refunding of the callable portion of the 1999 Agency Bond, the Agency's budget was consistent

shall be available for inspection in the City Clerk's Office, Room 209, 1400 Fifth Avenue, and placed with other agenda -related
materials on the table in front of the Council Chamber prior to the meeting.

To allow individuals with environmental illness or multiple chemical sensitivity to attend the meeting/hearing, individuals are requested
to refrain from wearing scented products.

Ms. Mosser noted Exhibits 3 and 4 identified revenue and expenditure changes for refunding of the bond. She
explained that in Fiscal Year 2009-2010 approximately $622,000 was built into the budget from the 2009
refunding bond for street projects, parking improvement and other projects benefitting the project area. Also
noted was an update for personnel and internal service costs to reflect current costs.
Ms. Mosser stated the report was generated with the help of Redevelopment Agency staff, Accounting Supervisor
Van Bach and Accountants Carl Tregner and Helen Yu.
Ms. Mosser stated that adoption of amendments to the Redevelopment Agency budget for Fiscal Years 2009-
2010 and 2010-2011 would be agendized for the Redevelopment Agency meeting of June 21, 2010.
Member Heller moved and Member Brockbank seconded, to accept the report.

3. Downtown Events: - File R-181 x R-140#8
Executive Director Ken Nordhoff announced that the Italian Street Painting Festival would be held on June 12
and 13, 2010 downtown.
Mr. Nordhoff confirmed for Member Connolly that a Special Study Session on the Redevelopment Agency would
be scheduled in the next couple of months.
There being no further business, the San Rafael Redevelopment Agency meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
