It is recommended that the City Council interview the following applicants to fill one, four-year term on the
Citizens Advisory Committee on Economic Development and Affordable Housing, with term to expire the
end of June,'2017.

At a Special Meeting on July 15, 2013, the City Council reappointed Gladys Gilliland to the Citizens
Advisory Committee on Economic Development and Affordable Housing. However, subsequent to that
meeting, Ms. Gilliland expressed her preference to serve as an Alternate member, thus creating one
vacancy. In the Councilmember Reports section of the City Council Meeting on that same evening, July
15, 2013, there was consensus to call for applications to fill this position, and three applications were
received by the deadline of Tuesday, August 13, 2013.
