SUBJECT: RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PARCEL MAP LABLELED '"PARCEL MAP
LANDS OF MENDELSOHM AND ACCEPTING THE PORTION OF THE PROPERT
DEDICATED TO THE CITY AT THE CORNER OF BELLE AVENUE AND VALENCIA AVENUE.]
RECOMMENDATION-. Staff recommends that the City council adopt the resolution approving the
Parcel Map for the subject project.
BACKGROUND: On June 3,, 2013 the Community Development Director approved the Minor
Subdivision to create two lots for the property located at 204 Belle Avenue. The parcel map has been
reviewed and approved by the City Engineer, the Acting City Surveyor and the Community Development
Director.
ANALYSIS: The parcel map is in conformance with the Subdivision Map Act. No improvements are
proposed with this subdivision of an existing parcel. Since no public improvements are required no
Subdivision Improvement Agreement is required for the recordation of this map. It is recommended that
the City Council take action to approve the Parcel Map, and authorize the City Clerk to record the map.
This particular parcel map dedicates a small portion of land at the comer of Valencia Avenue and Belle
Avenue which is needed for public access on this comer.
